Looking for advice, occasionally use Portlaois and Limerick Toll roads, infrequently use M50, I have a registered account with M50 which only charges me when I use it and no monthly fee.

Is there a similar option for other toll roads? What are peoples experiences?

Nope. You need a tag for all other tolls.

    Hi folks

Just to not create a new thread (must actually get a toll tag, but that's besides the point).

I travel from Clarecastle to Tipp quite a bit and when forgetting change I just go thru Lim (but bit sick of that now). Do the people manning the tolls accept card there?

    They don’t unfortunately.

Can you pay tolls with Visa Debit/Apple pay?

I think they all take card except the Limerick Tunnel

would you not look at the eflow option? 1.23 a month fee for the tag and then billed at the end of the month no messing with credit on the tag.

ParkMagic/TollTag.ie do a tag without a monthly fee. If you don’t use the tolls enough to warrant paying the monthly fee they’ll do a tag where they charge 10% of the toll on top. Granted, the (4) tags I have from them work on a credit based system but it works for me. The price of the toll for tag users are normally discounted too, and you can use them to pay for parking in a lot of places now too.
