    Hi all,

We currently have a 2008 Renault Laguna as our main family car but it has been giving a lot of problems and is costing more to keep on the road than it's worth so we want to buy something more reliable. We have a four month old so the car needs to have a boot big enough for a buggy. I see that Skoda have 0%pcp and like the look of the Scala. Are there any other cars I should consider? I am hoping to purchase in the next few weeks.

Being along the 4 month olds bits and pieces and see if they will fit in the Scala boot.

An Octavia would seem more suited to a 4 month old in terms of boot.

A lot of parents really like the idea of the modern crossover - so for example in Skoda terms the Karoq or Kodiaq.

They are higher off the ground then a Scala or Octavia and therefore easier to get the little one in and out of it.

Octavia is the family car. Swallows prams, bikes and picnic baskets at the same time. Low depreciation, reliable rock solid.

Some say you can fit an entire Scala in the boot of an Octavia.

Would be easier with the Superb though as a the bootlid can adjust to a hatch.
