Young Trained Farmer Relief on forested land

Hoping someone can help me figure this out as I'm getting conflicting answers on it.

I'm in the process of getting the farm transferred into my name and qualify for YTF stamp duty relief. There is about 10 acres of land planted in 2018 that is also being transferred and I'm wondering if it qualifies for the YTF relief as well.

Revenue have a guide where it says "For the purposes of young trained farmer relief, land occupied by, or suitable for occupation as, woodlands on a commercial basis is not agricultural land." makes me think it does not qualify. The wording isn't clear here - surely all land is suitable for occupation as woodlands.

Anyone else go through a similar situation that can advise on what they did for this?

    Thanks

My reading of this is that land under forestry is not eligible for Young Trained farmer Relief from stamp duty.
The stamp duty would only apply on the value of the underlying land not on the standing timber. You could make a good case for putting a low enough value on the underlying land in this case since if the trees are clear-felled then the land must be replanted- so its locked into forestry which would affect its market value.
