ACL Surgery 2 years after injury

Hey. I sustained a full rupture of my acl which needs surgery. I have had the mri scan but I have been putting surgery off for nearly 2 years due to work commitments. The fact I have left it so long is I am wondering do I need to get another mri scan or would they go by the mri I have already gotten. Appreciate any replies…
