I had a Galaxy Note 9 and regularly hooked it up to TV with a usb-c to hdmi adaptor.

I now have a Redmi Note 8 pro, and it didn't occur to me at all that it would not have this functionality. I think the problem is it's only usb 2 and not usb 3.1.

A shame, as a great phone for its price.

Question: anyone know any other phones with IR blaster and hdmi functionality?
