I fancy going here as a solo traveller in March and unsure whether it's a good place to visit. Was in Puerto de Carmen last year.

I'd like to stay somewhere close as possible to the beach and promenade and not too rowdy. Activities such as cycling, running, sea swimming and maybe a beer in the evening.

I can flights for circa €210 - is it cheaper to book these separately or go for a package?

Would be grateful for any suggestions where to stay and any other tips?

will be heading back there end of march, think went april last year and temps were amazing 30+ toasting. found entire place to be chill in general- comparing that to portugal, no loud crap late into nigh unless you end up close to some nightclub or pub only downside with canaries specially tenerife south los americas theres not many good beaches.

literally didn't go into water as shores are rocky as hell and sand is pure black in most places plenty of surfers thou. that said if you can book decent apartments with swimming pool bar on the spot you even forget about sea, theres massive water park if you wanna spend day in it 35e or so, for food lookup places on trip advisor, as breakfast is included and place ive stayed made fresh every morning continental ton to choose from and would been more then enough until dinner, and even without that its like 5-6e for full breakfast.

online los americas are often advertised as party spot, but comparing to mainland spain or portugal found it really chill spot, no rowdy crowds, slow pace, if your up for hiking etc volcano seems amazing and views are something to take in.

really high standards as well, hostels have tight rules and are really tidy, was considering to stay extra two weeks and cost was like 200e, all in solo or with friends cant think of better place for time of year where weather is guaranteed, services are high quality, and people in general are nice, taxis are cheap no rip off costs so easy to get around, if wanna pm and ill try to look apartments where i stayed, basically on main strip but high standards, safe, bar swimming pool on the spot and no nuisance close to beaches and overall easy to get around.

Costa Adeje is a nicer quieter area beside Playa de las Americas.

Everywhere else on Tenerife is nicer tbh. but it depends on what you're looking for.
