Have you tried Helicopter Total Realism 1.6 ? I think it was available at Hovercontrol, but is now available at the Helisimmer.com (https://www.helisimmer.com/downloads/fsx/tools/htr-helicopter-total-realism-1-6) site

I have but its incredibly hard to use, I think its a flaw with FS9 as helicopters generally hold a hover better in FSX. Very annoying.

Apologizes, Psychlops. I think you are right, and I do remember them being a 'bit' of nightmare to hold in a hover alright.

There must be someway around it, im aware of the various hover autopilots & gauges, but its not as good as a hands on hover would be.

Anybody else have any tips or tricks?

Just another thought would be to alter the CoG using Air Ed (https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?searchid=75325222) Not sure if it will work under W10, but might work. What type of stick do you have? I have a Warthog and use the trim switch to make finite adjustments to the rotor pitch?
