Hi all, can anyone tell me if an apprenticeship is considered fulltime education in ireland.

I don't really see how it could be classed as fulltime education since the majority of the time is spent on the job and the apprentice is receiving a wage for the duration of the apprenticeship.

In what context? For example, in respect of some youth exchange type schemes it might be, in terms of income tax not and so on.
