    Thanks

I’ve been to Madrid around the same time and stayed in the Radisson Blu Prado . On a quiet street but only a short walk to the Metro and centrally located. Usually reasonably priced for a Radisson and one so central. Novotel Madrid central was another one...

Stuff I enjoyed in the city..

    Prado Museum
    Royal Palace
    El Reitero Park
    Mercado San Miguel
    Tour of the Bernabeu

Much more of course but of the top of my head... public transport is top notch, metro and buses, nicely priced too, people are very friendly and it’s nice and walkable once the weather is good, May should be in the early 20’s.
