    Just a quick one -

We have added updated the ban lengths and added another step, 3 yellows is now a 1 month ban and not 3 months as previously. If you are on a 3 month ban or longer currently and see this, please PM a mod and who can commute the sentence.

    Thanx

Can I ask why this was changed mid season? It was agreed upon by users of the forum that stiffer sanctions where needed. Why change it now and not wait until the end of the season and a new feedback thread?

Stiffer sanctions are already in play, the structure is stricter than before and there is no reset now.

They were changed as we as a mod/cmod/admin team thought that the jump from 2 weeks to three months on a ban was a sharp one and that as there are no longer resets, 5 yellows for a permanent ban was too few.

This is not up for debate.

It is an implementation of a fairer system that was discussed between mod/cmod/admin. The main discussion being that the escalation from 2 weeks to 3 months was unduly harsh and so it was agreed to bring a sanction in the middle od those two.

It can be reviewed in the next feedback cycle as to whether it was a good thing or not.

    /thread.
