Drilling through tiles / rad pipes

I was thinking of tapping into a rad ... through tiled wall to run through two pipes to tap onto rad in next bathroom also tiled.

I have used a small Tile bit before no bother to fit towel rails etc .... but never through the actual tile to run a pipe .... hoping not to break tile .. old no spare ..is there a big bit available specifically for this purpose ? Thks

Your best bet is to buy a set of diamond core drills, these drill tiles much better than the spade pattern carbide bits.
They need water so a sponge or squeezy bottle to dribble onto the cut is a good idea.
I think Amazon or Ebay is your best bet and they are cheap for their performance.

Far cheaper full set on Amazon . Got one last year.

I've used multiple small holes (7mm) in a circular pattern to create a bigger hole. You could use your existing small tile bit and save yourself some time and money. You will need some trim for around the pipe because the hole won't be as clean as that from a single bit.

You are going to need more room than a small drilled hole to tie into pipes within the wall. (you'll need a pipe cutter and to fit 2 T joints...I dont see how you are going to do this through a pipe sized hole?

An alternative would be to go under the floorboards and bring the pipes up the floor rather than through the floor....is the floor also tiled?
