Really stuck here, DPF filter 2012 Citroen nemo 1.2 diesel

    good day

    trying to remove a DPF filter from a 2012 Citroen nemo 1.2 diesel, some of the small size 10 nuts are burned in so breaking up but as you look in at back of DPF near the top there a sensor going into and its so tight so any help me please

    Anything like that type of work you have to make sure the car is roasting hot you will never get it out when it's cold. And I'd be fairly sure the the dpf temp sensor normally is a special fit socket but either way you need to make sure it is red hot. Obviously with it being hot causes it's own problems but never go near anything like that with things cold because you will do more damage then good. Are u planning to get the dpf mapped out of the ECU because if not your only going to be getting other probs like engine lights etc

    Are you able for a job like that? I thought you also had to remap the engine to stop it trying to run the cleaning routine?

    Could be. Or could be removing it to stop future problems.
    I know a few people who did it.
