    It really needs the range of an e-Up at 270km to be taken seriously and if it does I think it will have similar motorway miles to a Zoe ZE40 because it has skinnier tyres and less frontal area.

    Not at all. Provided it has CCS charging (minimum 50kW), the only thing that counts here is price. The writer of the article is even more optimistic than me though:
    if it costs more than 15.000 euros after government subsidies, it’ll be a major disappointment.

    A price in Ireland after subsidies of around €16-17k and it will sell like hot cakes. Is there a 3 door version coming? Small 5 door cars look terrible, no exception.
