There's a large number of candidates declared do far:
    • Deputy Peter Burke (Fine Gael),
    • Senator Gabrielle McFadden (Fine Gael),
    • Cllr. Michael Carrigy (Fine Gael),
    • Deputy Robert Troy (Fianna Fáil),
    • Cllr. Joe Flaherty (Fianna Fail),
    • Sorca Clarke (Sinn Féin),
    • Alan Mangan (Labour Party),
    • Cllr. Louise Heavin (Green Party),
    • Barbara Smyth (People Before Profit),
    • Dom Parker (Solidarity),
    • James Reynolds (National Party),
    • Deputy Kevin “Boxer” Moran (Independent),
    • Anna Jackson (Independent),
    • Donal Jackson (Independent),
    • Tony Reilly (Independent),
    • Frank Kilbride (Independent)

With Willie Penrose not running there'll be at least one new TD elected. Are the other 3 safe?

Will Longford manage to elect someone after not having a representative in the last Dáil?
