Parcel shelf peg broke off

Had a little problem the other day and I ended up snapping off one of the parcel shelf pegs.

Problem is, it was a moulded one, not one I can simply buy a replacement for.:(
It was part of the overall plastic.

Does anyone know is there any sort of material I could shape a new one with that will harden?

Or will I just have to put a little screw into the spot and use that instead?

Sounds like it might do the job.

Was just thinking, are there any little plastic pegs which might come with a screw built in?

Show us a picture as maybe a bit of a wooden dowel secured would do.Have you still got the broken bit.

I'd say Polymorph plastic would be an ideal candidate for this, you may need to reinforce the part where it goes into the plastic but Polymorph is a lot more rigid than Sugru.

To answer a couple of questions:

    - the shelf is fine, and the cord that hangs... the little bit that broke off was in the plastic panel that it hung off
    - haven't got the little bit, unfortunately. Otherwise it might have superglued enough to use.

Check main dealers as it maybe a common part for replacement.

Stick up a picture of where the broken/missing bit attaches and a picture of the unbroken side.
