    Mods: I also posted this in the Sligo forum. I hope that's OK.

    Does anybody know of a good Mercedes mechanic in the Sligo/Mayo/ Donegal area?. A friend of mine is trying to get his 1970s model going again. A few people have had a look at it and had no luck.

    Is Fred the German still in business? IMC on Connolly Street.
    When I lived in Sligo, I found them to be excellent. My car was old (BMW E30) but it wasn't a carburettor engine.
