So i have some Harissa Paste on the verge of expiring.

Looking for an idea to use in a slow cooker receipe with either beef or pork.

Preferable something that works with lots of vegtable maybe...

Have a couple of receipes already(Lentil & Cauliflower Slow Cooker, Chicken Marinated in Harissa) but I have a lot of paste...it was burried in the back of a cupboard:o

What about shakhuka - not a slow cooker recipe, but makes a very good family breakfast or hot dinner dish? Your harissa will be gone in no time.

Shakshuka as Standroad said. It's also excellent mixed with yoghurt and loosened with water as a salad dressing, delicious stirred into couscous or quinoa, goes amazingly with white fish, in tagines, etc etc. The possibilities are endless, really. Don't get too hung up on the slow cooker thing.

Also, at the risk of straying into food safety advice, it shouldn't really go off, tbh. It might have a "best before" date but there's a big difference between that and "use by". Google the difference and use your nose, eyes and common sense.
