GlowWorm 18si Problem

Hey Gang, looking for some outsider advice

have an F2 fault on glowworm 18si, seems to relate to Fan, or Air pressure issue. Engineer did a Fan swop and in fairness worked well for week, and new fan sounds a lot better than the old one, we decided to swop out the Air Pressure switch at same time just in case.

Correct part no. etc came but the pressure rating was different to old switch

old parts range was 54/46 PA new part range was 80/68 PA and when fitted the fan wouldnt trigger the switch to fire the boiler, Glowworm/ Valiant confirmed part no. is correct so were in a bit of limbo as I cant seem to find a pressure switch to match, other possibiliy is its the pcb thats causing the error. The fault returned again last night, but it fired again about 45mins later.

So between servicing and parts and fitting we're about e400 in and if its PCB related we're in for another 250/300

should we really be considering a new boiler its 13yrs old in April, but new boiler is going to be big outlay I'm guessing region of 2.5k +

    any advice anyone can offer

    thanks a mil
