Hi - just wondering about hiking Moylussa. Would appreciate any info you have. Where do you start from? How long does it take?
    Thanks!

It's handy enough at the start, but it gets very steep near the summit, about two km away.

As for parking, there is plenty at two-mile gate outside Killaloe (link).

It is a good walk, plenty of great views of Lough Derg on the way up and down.

Easy enough you're fit. I seem to recall about 2 hours to the top? Long time ago.

yes about 3hrs round trip if you stop for a bite, but certainly could be done faster. Great views, fairly moderate climb apart from the last 20 mins which could be compared to Croagh Patrick but the footing is better. Lovely climb.
