Identify required keys for interior doors

    A couple of our doors are missing keys. The keys have numbers on them, but I don't see corresponding numbers on the locks (even after removing them from the doors). Is there a way of telling what number keys I need?

    What brand are the locks?
    If you get the name eg Basta, and go to your local hardware they will give you a bunch of the Basta keys (i think there may only be 10) and you can work out which one it is and they will cut a key for you.

    BW locks. They look to be based in Tallaght. They do not list the locks we have on their site.
    Might have trouble sourcing them if they no longer make them or if they are too obscure to be carried in local hardware stores. Not a huge deal if I have to replace the latches though.

    Try keys from the other locks. I know on my 16 internal doors that there are 4 different key numbers.
