    Hi What does rule 9 paye taxation mean or cover.

    When i enter Revenue.ie My account I enter manage tax 2020 I get a message I need to update personal information and quote rule9 . I contacted them about this but still awaiting a reply. Im just curious what it is .

    See Item 4 on Page 16. There are what's called 'blocking rules' which prevent using My Account until some information is updated. The relevant rule number tells them what needs to be done. As you'll see in the guide some information is redacted so you won't get a list of the rules and what they mean.
