    Hi Shanemorr,

I've checked the specs on the RU8000 and Samsungs website states it does have a Satellite connection.

You just plug the satellite cable from the dish into your TV and tune it in to pick up free to air satellite stations!

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

What are the tvs that can record while watching another programme. Also with the above satellite connection on the RU 8000 apart from saorview does it have the other stations for BBC etc

Looking at the 55RU8000 V 55SM8600 - Best overall TV - picture, sound etc

    Hi Shanemorr.

To be able to record one station while watching a 2nd the TV need to have twin tuners.
    The RU800 does not unfortunately.
You need to go into the Samsung QLED range to get this.

With a satellite tuner you can pick up the free to air satellite stations which should include the likes of BBC etc.

The LG 55Sm8600 does also not have twin tuners.

The 55RU8000 is currently listed on our website as an instore only collection and we would not be able to have this shipped.
