How do snooker academies work?

Just been thinking about how the QHouse Snooker Academy works and can’t get my head around it. Does the owner of the academy pay for the pros to play at his premises or are they paying to use it? If he is paying the pros he must be losing money? Can’t imagine pros paying to play at an academy when they play at any snooker…

Can’t imagine pros paying to play at an academy when they play at any snooker club in the country.

I cant answer factually but i would be fairly certain the pros pay a flat fee for using the facilities, the academy isnt their sponsor, just where they practise and get coaching. I think the owner of q house is Asian so he could be doing it partly to help out young asian pros, but its a business too so i assume he has to make it pay at the same time.
