    Hi Guys,

Was just doing my tax back for the year, when I thought of my working from home element. I work 1 day per week from home, work did not supply me or contribute to be buying 2 monitors, a printer or connection from laptop to said monitors. Can I put a claim in for this cost?

Is there anything else that I could claim as part of working from home one day a week?

So from reading that link, does it mean that I can claim €3.20 for everyday I worked from home?, in addition, I could claim on the cost of the monitors etc, as was bought by myself with no reimbursement from my company.

No. The 3.20 is an amount your employer can pay to you without deducting tax, USC or PRSI if you are an eworker. If your employer doesn't pay you that then Revenue aren't going to refund you 3.20 per day you worked from home. What you can do is make a claim online via MyEnquiries in relation to expenses relating to your one day of work at home per week. This would be a portion of your light, heat etc. Equipment would be a different matter as your employer should have provided you with equipment to work from home of you are in fact an eworker. You purchasing equipment and then using it for your work is pushing the boundaries of this relief.
