Bluetooth Dongle for speaker dock...

I have an iphone charging/speaker dock, I plug my Iphone10 into it and play music, simples.

However I was wondering if there was a dongle I could use instead, something I could physically connect to the speakers that would pick up the bluetooth signal from my phone so that I can play music from the other side of the room without having to have my phone plugged into the dock if that makes sense!?

    Is there such a thing?

    thanks

Think something like this would work if the dock has a 3.5mm input jack.

bit spendy I'm sure there's cheaper alternatives on various Chinese marketplace websites.

No 3.5 input jack unfortunately, just the IPhone x connection, appreciate the suggestion though!

The connection part on the speakers is the same as the end of the Iphone charger cable that goes into the bottom of the phone, appreciate the suggestion though!

Ahhh. Sure the iPhone will be transmitting the BT signal. So it’s the receiver is the one which needs to be the 3.5mm. Unless the only connection to the iPhone Dock is a lightning connection?

Unfortunately yes, just the lighting connection on the dock!

Didn’t the iPhone come with a small lightning to 3.5mm dongle? Maybe check the box? If so then it would allow you to pick up a relatively cheap BT receiver.
