Green liquid at left of picture

And if it's at Minimum do I need to top it up? Would I get it in Halfords or?

yes and yes if you are losing coolant then thats a pretty serious thing to get checked by a mechanic.

    keep an eye on it!

It's the coolant but looks to be at accepted level (between min and max marks).
Should it go below the min mark you can top up with the same coolant already in there, or distilled water.
It should not drop though so if that happens, get in touch with a mechanic.

Always check the level when the engine is cold though.

If the level drops don't wait another month.

Thanks all, would I get it in halfords, it’s also called antifreeze right ?

Is there a leak somewhere (nothing obvious) do you think? Given it’s at the minimum level

In the picture attached it's between min and max marks, which is exactly where it should be. Has it dropped since you took that picture?

I don;t think you need to do anything....

What car is it ? Do you have the manual ?

My manual says it would be between min and max.....

You could check for leaks underneath (i.e.on the ground after leaving car for a few hours - put a large sheet of cardboard underneath the engine area and see what you catch)

These days the cardboard, if it's still there, will be soaking wet.

Sound advice from you all, I'll run past Halfords and give it a little top up

The pre mixed stuff is prob the best? Worth having a bottle in the shed

You've been told a few times it is correct as it is. Why the need to throw random chemicals in to a system which is at the correct level?

Calm down. Is Minimum the correct level?

And i wouldn’t put in “random chemicals”, I’ve asked for advice

Thanks to those that gave advice

The colour does not determine the antifreeze formulation anymore. While it is risky to mix different types on antifreeze, I wouldn't put anything else than what you already have there. Check your vehicle manual what is recommended and go only with the exact same thing. You can also do a complete flush of the system - which might be a good thing.
