Where do you find the best chats on Boards? Thoughtful contributors, solid moderators?

I like Personal Issues and Work Problems because it tends to be real life, gritty stuff that I can relate to. I also like Literature.

    Yours?

Nature, Gardening, Angling, Consumer Issues...all decent forums with good discussion, ready and reliable advice, little or no argument, and well modded.

API and forum games. Just found forum games last year and it's really brilliant with a lovely crowd in there.

Rugby League is a great forum (mainly because I'm normally the only one posting there) Arcade and Retro, lovely forum with good people, Christmas, ditto. Nintendo and Xbox forums both very useful and majority there extremely helpful and friendly. Honourable mention to Cricket, Soccer and Television.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Forums I look at every day or every second day:

    Soccer
    Films
    Galway City
    Gigs and Events
    Television
    Podcasts.

AH is the best and worst forum on the site. Lots of activity and good posters, but there's so much stoopid on here also and legions of hot take knuckle draggers, more than in any other forum, with the exception of CA, which is a truly awful place.

I spend a lot of time in the radio forum.
Politics also and find that that is very well modded on topics which often have very vocal opposing views.
Have enjoyed some of the 'Best of' forum games over the last few months.

Read threads on the soccer forum almost daily but only to laugh to myself at the partisanship that goes on in them. Have never registered to post in them as I know I probably wouldn't last a day before being sanctioned.

Certain areas of the soccer forum can be fairly partisan and it is a law, with as much rigour as a physical law, that any thread about any subject will descend into pointless Man United vs Liverpool willy waving after an alloted period of time. Always.

But I find AH to actually be more stupid.

Forum games for the win! :D

Want a fun escape from reality for a short period? To take out some pent up rage on an unsuspecting werewolf? Maybe scramble your brains in some quiz type games or broaden your horizons when it comes to music and movies?

All while getting to know a great bunch of people you’ll most definitely get the opportunity to meet in real life?

Well step right up future friends, take a walk into the magical world of forum games and add a bit of brightness into your life you never knew you needed until you stumbled into a live werewolf game not having a bloody clue what the hell was going on but knowing you needed to be a part of the next one!

All are welcome, even and especially the nay sayers ;):D

My favourite outside of AH would be:

    Astronomy
    Roads
    Dublin City
    Non-drinkers Group
    The Gentlemens Club
    LEGO
    Personal Issues

...can you believe I’ve never even checked out the Games Forum?:D
    How do I join up?

For Werewolf games you sign up to the Werewolf sign-up thread and just before a game starts you'll be PMed your role and the game gets played in a sub forum.

But even if Werewolf doesn't interest you there's lots more happening. Submit a MS Paint drawing; PM your top favourite X (at the moment looking for 90s tunes); enter a game of Sheep (a sort of Family Fortunes type game); make guesses at 20 Questions; or sign-up for Codewords.

Or hell, if you have your own idea for a game that would work well online start a new thread and we'll all have a go.

Forum games..... Except for The werewolf games, which have me totally lost!

Some of the craziest & funniest threads I read on boards are in the wedding thread, hilarious.
