How are ADR dividends treated with respect to tax?

    Hi all,

Have some shares in NGG which is an ADR. Noticed on the Degiro report that no dividend withholding tax was taken from source until my other US domiciled funds that have 15% deducted as you all know.

Even though NGG is listed on the NYSE, is it treated like a UK based stock and so no withholding tax applies?

    Thanks,
    G
