Hi I'm thinking of travelling from Limerick to Kinvara for a half marathon in early March. Trains and buses seem to stop in Ardrahan. Would it be easy to get a taxi from there to Kinvara do you think?
    Thanks
    S

You would have to book it, but look up James Fahy taxi or Tom Burke on FB. Both local drivers and very reliable when Pre- booked. Can send you their no’s by PM if you want.,

Another possibility would be to use the coastal Bus Éireann route, 350, which serves Kinvara several times a day in each direction.

A through ticket from Limerick to Kinvara is available (online & at station/on bus). Catch Bus Éireann Limerick to Ennis and change at Ennis onto route 350 (destination will show Galway).
