Led spot light bar

    Hi I got a led spot light bar for my car could anyone advise me how to wire it ? I want it to work off my head lights so when I dim it goes off

    You’ll have to run it on a relay from the main beams.no harm to fit it on a jack plug the way you could plug it out when it’s going for a test.
    There’s some of them rated for off road use only

    Thanks jr for the information I’m very greatfull I’m Gonna wire them to the head beam lights but do you think it will be safe having a wire coming outa the headbulb like in your third diagram

    The wire from the headlight is only acting as a signal for the relay, there is no extra load on the headlight circuit.
    Your light bar current is running from the battery to the relay using new wiring, and from the relay to the light bar (again using new wiring)

    Cause muppets use them on the public roads and they dazzle anyway travelling in the opposite direction. Nearly as ridiculous as people with orange lights on their vans / trucks in use on the public road for no good reason (like being an actual hazard).
