Hi, I recently bought a canon 750D (second hand) i'd like to buy a grip and battery to put on the camera but i'm finding canon equipment a tad expensive, has anyone a recommendation for non canon gear to cut down the cost a bit.
    Thanks.

Thanks Dan, I’ll certainly keep that one in mind.

Amazon UK have those Meike ones for over half that price, you'd need to use Parcel Motel or AddressPal as the seller doesn't ship to Ireland.

If you don't need a remote you can get a Neewer Battery Grip Replacement for BG-E18 for Canon EOS 750D/T6i, 760D/T6s for about €40 from Amazon Germany.

Thanks Fionn, does the one from Amazon Germany ship to Ireland?
Is ordering the same as the UK site?

Fionn, have you a link for the German grip ? I can find 2 grips to suit,I don’t speak German but by the looks of it they don’t ship to Ireland .

This is the URL for the grip https://www.amazon.de

I'm registered on the German site as well as the UK one, works the same, theres a slight difference to the price because of Irish VAT applied before you check out.
The total order would be €40.91

Thanks Fionn, I think I’ve ordered one from the German site, they sent 2 emails but I haven’t a notion of what they are saying, is there any buttons I can click on to change the text to English?

On the German site theres a language picker 'Top Right' gives a dropdown list, any correspondence just cut and paste into Google Translate.

    Cheers
