Keeping horses out of garden

Land behind me is rented and about 6 horses are out there. They’ve taken to eating everything they can reach over my back wall. While I think it’s the farmers responsibility to fence off but I’m looking for a quick fix while I track him down. Any suggestions?

tie some whitetape like that along the wall, horses used to that stuff so even if no current in it should avoid it for a few days. get it in any country hardware.
