    Hi ,I am using the above but cannot send emails at the moment only recieve them ,i have just changed interned provider from eircom to 3 ,would this have anything to do with it..

    whats the last part of your email like gmail.com or eir.ie ?

    Eircom's SMTP servers do not allow you to send when not on Eircoms network. You would need to configure using 3's SMTP servers but they may refuse to allow mail with an @eircom.net from address.

    I have an iphone as well and same ,i can only recieve emails and not send them..
