What is going on with my car?

    My Renault grand scenic is bouncing massively on country roads even on minor bumps it feels the suspension is bottoming out and giving a heavy noise when it does this. I brought it into a mechanic to check the shocks and they couldn't find any issue with it visually. Any idea what this could be? Tire pressure seems fine also.

    If your on them types or roads it's your shocks for definite.unless the took the shocks out of the car to check the rebound off them how can they be sure. Anyways we have a guy that came from Renault working with us he would do them shocks kn a hour.

    Thanks so much for all the info here, took my car to another mechanic and they sorted it. The front shocks were in a bad way.
