Person I know became an Irish Citizen in 2005 but worked in the UK 2005 - 2019 would she able to claim a non contributory pension here in Ireland she is currently 75 and not able to work and is staying with family

Not sure about the non-contributory pension, but she should be entitled to the UK state pension if she was paying enough National Insurance contributions for at least 10 years.

Depending on her previous living patterns - maybe

She’ll have to fulfill the habitual residence test

If she was resident here for a number of years before moving to the UK, she might get it on return

If she wasn’t ‘habitually resident’ here before getting citizenship and moving to the UK, she won’t
