Nest Thermostat Hub

    Hi,
    Does anybody know where i can get a hub for the nest thermostat. We moved house back in July and I brought the actual thermostat unit with me but didn't have time to get someone out to disconnect the hub from the boiler. I also thought it would be handy to pick one up. They are not available to buy separately, only conne in the box with the thermostat, even though they are not specific to that thermostat and can work with all. Ive been on and on and on to nest but they won't give or sell me a new hub unless i can prove that the other hub is broken. Unfortunately ther people who bought our house have removed and binned the old hub and that's not good enough for nest. They say I have to pay €250 for a new thermostat and hub.

    Just wondering if anyone else had come across this and if you know where i can pick up a hub on its own. Can't find any on adverts or donedeal or ebay.
