compatible mobile device for Alexa

    It is necessary to download the Alexa App on a smartphone in order to use Alexa (Echo Show 8) but it says my mobile device is not compatible.
    This means I cannot access contacts to make a call or use Skype.
    My phone is an Huawei Honor Lite 10. Do you know which smartphones are compatible and have you guys managed to download this Alexa App?

    Figured it out this morning. I could download it (Amazon Alexa App) from Google Play Store no problem, while Amazon refused so all good so far.
