Looking for somewhere within 2.5 hours drive of Dublin. Would like there to be plenty for our 8 year old to do. Can anyone recommend any suitable hotels or holiday villages?

Do ye not think you'd be better off jumping on a flight over to liverpool, edinburgh, or somewhere? Ireland is ridiculously expensive to stay in at any time of the year, especially easter. Plus the weather is crap and there's f*ck all to do.
