Overseeding 2020

    Hi All

    When do you plan to start overseeding your lawns.

    i just got 10kg of seed but not sure when to start.

    I just read a bit on it as I didn't know what it was, and it says best time is in the spring and autumn.

    I had planned to do some more seed spreading this coming spring myself, as I had to reseed part of my lawn after drainage work and it didn't really take.

    So will throw another bag of seed on the area this spring and see how it fares.

    basically you need to wait until the risk of frost is gone. Problem is that young growth can die with a quick nip of frost. Seeds might also be damaged too.

    look at seeding around end April time.
