Peugeot service.

    181, 5008 1.2 petrol is due its 2nd service called 3 dealerships for a quote & what's required. All guessed about €170 & €220, all included ad-blue which it doesn't use but what shocked me was none could say what the service actually consists of, all said oil & air, one said spark plugs? & the other argued that ad-blue would be checked. When I asked what was air? They guy was like what do you mean, I was is it filter or air con, which the reply both. Only 1 confirmed that it would be checked for updates.

    Wouldn't give me to much confidence in any of them.

    End of rant.

    You probably spoke to a receptionist. To get a better answer, you should ask to be put through to the service department, and speak to an actual mechanic.

    I wouldn't get too hung up on a phone conversation. The mechanic will run though the list of tasks and checks as prescribed by Peugeot. Just tell them to call you before progressing with any work that will cost you extra.
