    Hi guys,
Is it possible to use a VM box off site? Basically, wondering if I can use a box while temporarily at a different location (10 minutes up the road)? EG: Going to a friends house for a weekend, who has no TV and want to bring the box with me.

    Thanks

Do you mean to play recorded programs? Just switch off your box, unplug the co-ax cable, switch it on and see what happens. If it works in standalone mode in your house, it will do the same anywhere.

But..... you said the friend you're visiting has no TV. So what are you going to connect the VM box to?

    They could have VM broadband.

Another option maybe worth mentioning you will have access to your range of channels online by logging in to your virgin media account, you can also add other users to your online account for the purpose of watching the channels they wont get access to billing information just the range of channels,
You can also access via a smart phone then cast it on to a smart TV or connect computer to the tv

Thanks for this! The problem is that some programs (namely sports programs) are restricted via the app (plus the quality isint the best!)

Your box might work in his house. You'll need a splitter to keep his BB working and give you a co-ax connection to plug in your box. If his BB is standalone, it's likely he doesn't have a VM splitter. If your Wi-Fi is from the Horizon box, you may not have the splitter either.
