Rural Job Options with a business degree

    Hi guys,

I graduated with a degree in business and German last year.

Since then, I’ve been working for a tech company in Dublin. The job is good in terms of pay, benefits etc. but I don’t find the work very interesting and I don’t want to live in Dublin anymore.

I’m originally from a small rural village located about half an hour from a larger town in the northwest. I was wondering if anyone has any idea what kind of jobs I could/should be looking at for rural areas with my degree? My current role is sales but I don’t enjoy it much.

Could really use some help as I’m a bit lost.

I think the way to think about this is to flip it around and ask why would an employer hire you?

For example, an employer would hire me due to my many years of IT & management experience, and track record of delivering projects.

Use this logic on yourself to figure out what jobs you should apply for, and what your weak points are.
