    Hi
I've bought a property with an old house on the site. I am weighing up if I should build on and do an extension to it or just toss it and build a new house (timber frame). I will be doing it as a self build.

Anyone on here have costs on excavation and foundations ? Like how much per meter for excavation, rebar and concrete pour of a standard type founcation? I have the general costs of the timber frame house kits and block layer costs..

I done a 70sq m extension 2 years ago it cost me 5k from dig out to pour the floor. I didn't remove rubble though, just threw it to one side.
Had loads of room for 8ton digger, pricier if you have issues with access.
Probably another 1k for 2 roll off skips to get rid.
