Marriage registration birth cert: born in Northern Ireland

We are in the process of gathering documents for our marriage application. My partner is Irish, lived in ireland her whole life, has a Irish passport but was born in Derry and as such, has a british birth certificate.

She only has an original of the short form birth cert and a copy of the full. My questions are:

    1) Is this sufficient to get the application?
    2) Does she need to get a new original birth cert and does it require an apostille stamp?
