    Hi,

I'm trying to decide on a colour scheme for a one bed apartment. I'd like to try this brand as it seems to be hugely recommended.

Could anyone advise on paint colours that would be soft, warm, muted shades. I'm trying to stay away from yellow and would love something cosy and restful. I like colour, as long as it's soft and light.

The living room and bedroom have big windows and are quite big. The stairs has no bannister, just two walls with a small window at the top, so quite shaded at the bottom. The kitchen and bathroom are small and not so bright at the end farthest from the window.

Everywhere is currently painted white. Most room have coving and I would like to make the most of this as you can't really notice it at the moment.

If anyone has any ideas I would be so grateful.

I just did an entire house interior with Colourtrend and was absolutely delighted with it, especially the darker colours, they are very rich and smooth. The layout is a bit complicated but one main room has a feature wall + an adjacent wall in Fairy Fort (mid to darkish mossy green) with the other walls in Boathouse White, which looks a kind of clay colour on the sample but comes up a very soft light (mossy) green. Some doors I did in Leveret and others - old cottage type doors - in another part, + the spindles of an incorporated staircase, in Bramble gloss. This is a very very dark purple and gives a bit of interest without being obvious. All woodwork white. The whole look is soft green, warm and pleasant - I already had some rugs in shades of the Fairy Fort green with terracotta, dark red and bits of purple, on a darkish neutral bg, and they sit very nicely. In another room I have Stucco Work and Fruit Crumble, and they go well together, Stucco Work is just off-warm white with a distinct hint of pink.
