Shutting down threads that have hardly got going, on the basis that some other thread on the same subject got out of hand previously, is a ridiculous way to proceed. If you're going down the road of censorship-in-advance, you might as well nip it in the bud with a blanket ban on the topic altogether.…

If you're going down the road of censorship-in-advance, you might as well nip it in the bud with a blanket ban on the topic altogether.
