    Hi All,

I was wondering if you could help me. I need to buy a laptop for work. It will be used for approx 8 hours a week and will only be used for work activities.

I will be logging into our work server while using it. I will be using it mainly for answering emails and running basic reports.

I have been told it needs to have Windows 10.

    My budget is €300-350.

I really do not have a clue when it comes to laptops, it has been years since I bought and used one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    JD

Do you need Windows 10 Pro? or will Home do?

I purchased a refurbished (ex-lease) Dell last month that was 3 years old on ebay, Cost me about €270 all in. Pretty decent spec - Dell Latitude E7250 12.5" Ultrabook Laptop (i5-5300U/8GB/128GB SSD/Win 10)

Obviously no warranty but a decent machine for work.

Home will do I reckon. From speaking with people who have recently started to work from home a 15.6" screen is a must.

If you are using it at home and will be using it for 8 hours per day even a 15.6" screen will be to small.

I suggest to get a small decent spec laptop and but a 22" monitor to hook your laptop up to
