Hi all and a happy new year.

I picked up the Karcher Fj6 Foam Nozzle to go with my Karcher K2.
Used it with Meguiar's Ultimate Snow Foam Xtreme Cling.

First go didn't get much foam but assumed it was because the car was wet from the overnight dew.

Used it again on a dry car but the same result.

Anyone any suggestions about the foam nozzle settings or how much foam to add to the bottle?

    Thanks
    Rory

You won’t get a foam out of that yoke.
You need a snow foam lance.

Can be got on amazon or any of the detailing sites.

I bought a cheap one from Aliexpress to use with my Karcher and it works well , was only about 15 quid

The karcher ones are for likes of driveway cleaning etc.....

Useless as a snow foam Lance so get the ones with the copper fitting.

The K2 may not have enough pressure or flow rate for thick suds. The guy in the forensic detailing channel in YouTube upgraded from k4 to k7 to get some decent suds.

Some detailers prefer the runny stuff anyway because it moves over the paint.

Picked up Karcher K2 on sale in Halfords other day and it came with snow foam attachment . Just clicks into handle and has straw that fits in the supplied bottle and twists on. Worked well for me . Never used one before. Plenty of suds. Maybe try find that one for yours ? Picture of it attached

Hi Guys, I actually had this very question today. At the moment I have been using the inbuilt detergent bottle mixed with some fairy liquid:o:o thats attached to K5 to Soap up my car. You adjust the lance to give you a soapy mix then turn it back to pressure.

But I have found it wont do that great a job with mould and general dirt. Even using the Brush attachment doesnt shift the ground in dirt. I have a foam gun little plastic thing that came with it looks very cheap i just assumed it was a bit of a gimmick
Will the foam attachment bring the car back to new? Seems to be good to be true. Is that it you just spray on the foam leave it and even baked on mould and general dirt will wash away? Or do you still have to do a lot of rigourous elbow grease work

Don't use fairy liquid or a brush on the car...

Snow foam is only to help lift the dirt.

    Jet wash off.

I just recently picked up the exact same nozzle and snow foam for my K2 compact and I found it gave great foam cover using a 5 to 1 mix in the bottle. Are you sure you have the yellow dial turned up on the top of the foam nozzle?

I must admit i have used it once or twice in the past to strip any wax or protection off the car ( if stuck )

Definitely not good for every wash use though!
