Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Harry Bentley's code - a request for help

This is a poser from a friend of mine. Maybe someone can figure it out?

"In 1964, I was given a book by a man I worked with, Harry Bentley. Harry was sharp-witted, and inscribed the book with his signature and the following: To E.A.R. 303/9/316.

    E. A. R. are my initials, but what does the rest mean? Can you decode the letters for me? Is it a quote from the Bible (Harry was a convinced Methodist)? Is it some form of mnemonic (Harry was keen on these)?

The title of the book is 'Effective Speech", and is ironic, for Harry had a severe speech impediment."

Anyone have an insight? Thanks in advance.
