    Hey all

So I'm just looking for some info on the above.
    Basically the steps involved.

So my parents have offered my wife and i a site to the rear of our home house.
We will have a meeting with the council to make a decision on the entrance etc.
Local needs shouldn't be a problem we both work local in the village area, and i went to school there.
    Its countryside Tipperary area.

We are wanting to arrange all the paperwork now.
First question is which area maps are needed ? Is osi planning pack the one required or is there others also needed ?
Currently in the process of making rough designs / plans before we approach the architect.
I work in construction so have a fair idea of build processes and that .

Also , for transfer of site , should we sign over before planning approval or whats best ? How does the 6% tax work etc.
Basically just looking for an idea of the best way to proceed.

Many thanks, all info much appreciated

Don’t buy the maps, just engage the arch and let him advise. The arch should attend any meeting/ be involved in any contact with council.

To add to ^^, Don't transfer or spend anything on the land conveyance until you have planning permission in the bag.
Planning can throw up things unforeseen and you may have spent a small fortune by that stage that is dead money...
